CV 200 Club

Background

1985

Launch of the CV 200 Club

The CV 200 Club was launched this year, with eligibility limited to players who had played in 200 or more VCA 1st XI, Victorian First Class and Australian Test Matches. 

2000/01

Recognition Awards come in

Special CV 200 Club Recognition Awards commence being presented to members whose outstanding contribution to Victorian Cricket are acknowledged.  

1994/95

Umpires join the ranks

Umpires are approved to become eligible for CV 200 Club Membership under the same eligibility criteria.

September 2004

One Day Matches now count

The Membership Criteria for the CV 200 Club was updated to include Domestic One Day matches for Victoria and One Day matches for Australia.

July 2008

Scorers now in for CV 200 Club

Scorers were approved to become eligible for CV 200 Club Membership under the applicable eligibility criteria of the day.

2017/18

T20s and Women's Cricket now in

The Membership Criteria for the CV 200 Club was updated to include T20 matches for Victoria, the BBL franchises and Australia. Also brought in this season was the recognition of the state's Women's Cricket history at applicable levels. 

August 2012

Non-Playing Coach roles now count

The CV Board approves the inclusion of matches completed as non-Playing Coach at Premier and Victorian levels to the eligibility criteria. 

2019/20 to Current

VWCA-era records now counting

Records relating to the top grade of Women's Cricket prior to the merger between the Victorian Women's Cricket Association (VWCA) and Victorian Premier Cricket in 2013 now count towards CV 200 Club Membership.
