Carlton all-rounder Evan Gulbis has claimed the Jack Ryder Medal, while Box Hill’s Zoe Griffiths has taken out the Una Paisley Medal at the 2025/26 Kookaburra Victorian Premier Cricket Awards held at the MCG last night.

Gulbis secured the Jack Ryder Medal with 31 votes, edging out Casey South Melbourne’s Finlay Gordon on 27 votes, with Greenvale Kangaroos’ Will Luxton finishing third on 26 votes.

A consistent and influential performer throughout the season, Gulbis played a key role for Carlton across both disciplines, leading from the front in a campaign that saw him recognised as the competition’s best and fairest player.

Meanwhile, Griffiths was awarded the Una Paisley Medal after an outstanding season for Box Hill, polling 27 votes to finish ahead of joint runners-up Zoe Samuel (Melbourne) and Olivia Henry (Prahran), who both finished on 23 votes.

Griffiths’ consistency and impact across the campaign consolidated her place as one of the competition’s most influential players, capping off a standout year in the women’s competition.

Congratulations to Evan and Zoe, as well as all players recognised across a strong season of Premier Cricket.
